Submit structured requests
Clients submit service requests with the right details up-front - no back-and-forth to clarify scope.
Native Android app that lets SECA clients submit service requests, track them in real time, and receive professional updates - published on the Google Play Store.
SECA was managing client service requests across phone calls, emails and WhatsApp. Requests were getting lost in long email threads, clients were constantly checking in to ask "what's the status?", and there was no single place where active and historical requests lived for either side.
A native Android app built with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose for a clean Material 3 experience. Clients can submit structured service requests, watch their progress update in real time, and receive notifications as the status changes. The app also surfaces SECA's services, partner government entities and security controls in one place - published on the Google Play Store under "Coding with CS".
The most useful pieces of the project - built in and ready to use from day one.
Clients submit service requests with the right details up-front - no back-and-forth to clarify scope.
Status updates flow from SECA to the client in real time, so nobody has to ask "where are we?"
Curated list of partner government entities (CIPC, SARS, CSD, Department of Labour) and SECA service tools in one place.
System-aware and manual dark mode toggle for comfort in any lighting.
Biometric and PIN-based app lock so client requests stay private on shared devices.
Built to be localisable for South Africa's multi-language user base.
Dedicated settings for notifications, data and security - nothing shared with third parties.

A self-service Android app that keeps clients informed from request to resolution - fewer follow-ups, faster turnaround, and a more professional experience for SECA's customers.
